Derek Wolf

Coach Wolf grew up in Invermere and finished high school in Penticton BC. Coming out of high school, he went to Thompson Rivers University for one season before transferring to Mount Royal University where he played the remainder of his career.

Coach Wolf led his team at point guard. He was an effective scorer as well, dropping a career high 39 points in a victory during the 2015-16 season.

He has coached at every level, coaching and directing kids summer camps for the past 10 years. Coach Wolf has also coached club basketball in Calgary, AB.

If you know Coach Wolf, you know how lucky we are to have him in the gym. He can knock down a half court jumper with ease and make you laugh while doing it.

When he’s not coaching or hoopin’, Coach Wolf is a teacher and spends the rest of his time with his wife and their cute bernedoodle, Mabel!
